Camden Group, are a family owned company and are the largest trade frame manufacturer in the UK and Ireland and the only window company in UK and Ireland with full onsite recycling, extrusion, design, production and logistics facilities.
The past year has been a success for Camden Group from outstanding sales figures to award wins to staff development. The company in 2017 has went from strength to strength.
The continued investment in both the equipment and staff within the factories provide a platform where Camden can attempt to differentiate themselves from competitors in turnaround, price and products while also paving the way for future investments.
Camden have continued to be a responsible environmentally friendly company in 2017, reducing landfill by up to 160 tonnes a week through the recycling of old uPVC. This recycled uPVC is used to produce the company’s unique profile system, Inliten, which consists of up to 80% recycled content. The company has also been recognised within the business community by winning the Sustainable Ireland Award for Industrial Symbiosis and also being a finalist in the UTV Business Eye Awards for Waste Reduction Project of the Year.
During the year, Camden continue to develop their internal teams from the factory floor to Marketing to HR. This investment of time and money into training and recruitment has allowed Camden to develop in new areas and continue to offer a higher standard of product to our customers and support to local communities.
This year the marketing department have invested in a range of tools that have helped to raise the company’s profile. From social media to brochures, to the Camden website… the department have been committed to communicating with customers and developing the company and the Camden Group brand.
The Human Resources team have established new policies and schemes to encourage new staff to join the Camden team and also enrich the working life of our current staff members. From apprenticeship schemes, Graduate programs, suggestion boxes, employee newsletters and more, the company are continuously invested in the progression of their staff.
As well as the factories, Camden have continued to develop their flagship trucks this year. With a fleet of over 50 vehicles this year Camden released brand new truck and van designs. These new versions of the renowned Camden vehicles were displayed at the Truckers For Charity event in the summer where over £21,875 was raised for a local charity.
To top off a productive year, Camden have achieved record breaking sales figures specifically for England and Scotland. Camden Group are set to close 2017 on a high in these regions.
