Purpose of the Role
To carry out quality inspections throughout the production process, ensuring products
meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Shift Patterns

Days: 0745 to 1715 Monday to Thursday and 0745 to 1300 Friday

Evenings: 1700 to 0230 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday/ 1700 to 2215 Thursday/ 1500 to 0030 Friday

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Carry out in-process inspections and, where required, final inspections of windows and associated components.
• Check products for quality, appearance, dimensions and functionality in line with required standards and specifications.
• Identify and record any defects, faults or deviations from the required standard.
• Report quality issues to the relevant Supervisor or Manager.
• Assist with investigating and resolving quality issues where required.
• Complete relevant quality records, check sheets and documentation accurately.
• Ensure products meet customer and company quality requirements before progressing to the next stage of production or dispatch.
• Follow all company Health & Safety, Quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working area.
• Work effectively with production colleagues and other departments to maintain high standards of quality.

Physical Requirements
This is a very physical role and requires regular manual handling and movement of windows and associated products.

successful candidate will be required to:
• Physically move, handle and inspect windows and associated components.
• Regularly lift, carry, push and pull products as part of the inspection process.
• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the working day.
• Work in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Always follow safe manual handling procedures.

Essential Criteria
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or quality environment.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to identify defects or inconsistencies.
• Ability to follow specifications, procedures and quality standards.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to accurately complete basic quality records and documentation.
• Reliable and willing to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
