On Thursday the 12th of May Camden’s Climb Team took on Cave Hill with charity partner AWARE NI. The team was led by professional mountaineers and they all set off at 7:30pm with an aim of catching the sunset at the top of the hill. The start of the climb was difficult but with encouragement from their teammates everyone made is safely to the top. Unfortunately, weather was not on their side with very cloudy skies and intermittent raining, so there was no sunset to be seen. Despite this everyone was in great spirits from the climb and feeling good about their achievement!

The team raised the fantastic amount of £740, well over their target of £500! Fantastic work to the Camden Climb Team and huge thank you to all who donated.

This brings our total raised so far for AWARE NI to £4,424. We hope to bring this over £5 at our next fundraising event, The Viking Boat Race, taking place on the river Lagan.
