Camden Honoured with Prestigious Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer of the Year Award
Camden, a leading manufacturer of uPVC windows and doors, has been awarded the Made in NI Sustainable Ethical Manufacturer of the Year by Insider Media. This esteemed accolade recognises Camden’s outstanding contributions to sustainability and reinforces its commitment towards achieving net-zero manufacturing.
Camden was selected from a competitive pool of nominees by a panel of esteemed judges, who congratulated Camden’s work within this sector
The judges felt Camden was the outstanding candidate for this award, due to its cradle-to-gate circular manufacturing, which makes its products among the most sustainable on the market.
Camden Owner and Chair, Brian Lavery, expressed his gratitude, saying: "Team Camden is delighted to receive this award, which acknowledges the significant strides we are making towards sustainable manufacturing in Northern Ireland. This achievement would not have been possible without our incredible team.

Camden has invested heavily in its sustainable manufacturing with a dedicated on-site extrusion facility, which reduces the amount of waste going to landfill by up to 160 tonnes every week. Using this state-of-the-art technology, Camden’s frames are manufactured using up to 80% recycled content, thereby reducing their carbon frame production emissions by 70%.

This year, Camden also celebrates its 40th year in business.

Camden was formally presented with the Sustainable Ethical Manufacturer of the Year Award at the Titanic Hotel, Belfast, on Friday, 17th May. The awards celebrate Northern Ireland manufacturing and engineering firms that are developing innovative ideas and delivering high-quality products and services.
